Interesting! If the box really doesn't have an internal clock, then how it wakes up from deep standby on time, boots and began to record or something set on timer? There is no transponder signal reception and no image or software running on deep standby!
In deep standby is still powered. When you turn it off (rear switch), memory of clock is erased. You don't have battery powered internal clock or RTC like on PC.
So, it doesn't have backup buttery, but internal clock should be present and running, am I right?
