Also, when I stop the USB tuner process with /etc/init.d/usbtuner stop and then restart it with /etc/inint.d/usbtuner start command, my box freezes and have to manualy on/off it...
Ok, I will create a swap file on a usb drive.I've made a very quick test with another device who uses the same chipset of your device and the results are not good.
I think I've some problems with my Vu+Duo box used for tests and i hope friday to make new tests with a Solo box that seems more stable.
I'll kepp informed you.
Also, create a swapfile into a USB flashdrive to avoid memory problems (at least 128Mb)
Good morning,
As I wait for your tests, I ould also like to point out another issue with the dvb-t. More often than not, it loses the channels, saying "no SID in PAT" or something like that. I have to re-scan the dvb-t frequencies and all is ok, until the next time.
Yes, but after rebooting, still no SID in PAT... Only with a re-scan all is ok for some days...Did you try only to reboot your box?

Just to help you find out what happens, I mostly have the problem when changing from the satellite channels to the digital terrestrial ones. It's as if changing hardware receiver disrupts something...I've made a very quick test with another device who uses the same chipset of your device and the results are not good.
