BH 2.1.2 and Hauppauge pctv nanostick t2 290e usb-tuner

Unfortunately there is still issues with "Hauppauge pctv nanostick t2 290e usb-tuner"

I will try to give more feed back than this, when i have more time

Ultimo configuration:
Tuner A: Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL2108) (DVB-S2) - slot A
Tuner B: Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL2108) (DVB-S2) - slot B
Tuner C: Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL6222) (DVB-S2) - slot C
Tuner D: Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL6222) (DVB-S2) - slot C
Tuner E: PCTV 290e - USB port
Tuner F: PCTV 290e - USB port
Usb Tuners are located in separate USB ports on the back (usb power y cable is wired, between the two USB ports on the back)

UsbTuner v0.3.14-BETA1 (Build using DVBAPI 5.10)

Issue:
After a while (total random) the channel i am watching, is running into small loops. 3 seconds forward, looping back 2,5 seconds
(when recording this happens almost every time), and all other terrestrial channels are going Black. (The tuner is however, still present in tuner setup)

Fyi regarding output files:
cat /proc/bus/usb/devices >> /tmp/output.txt is no longer possible
/proc/bus/usb/devices do not exist in BH2.1.2
i did cat /proc/devices >> /tmp/output.txt instead

Best regards

Should be solved in the next BH image.

I'll investigate with two USB devices (1 PCTV 290e and another DVB device) BUT if you use an USB hub WITHOUT external power the problem can be in that.

Uhm ..... I've reading wrong your previous post and thanks for clarification.
Usually an externally powered hub USB don't need the Y cable but it has only a single USB connector because it has it's power supply and PCTV 290e like all recent DVB devices takes a lot of power.
Seems you have a standard hub USB WITHOUT external power but takes power from two USB ports from the box and it's not a good idea and I'll suggest to get an external powered hub USB that can get all the power needed to your USB devices.

Probably I don't understand well what you write and I hope you apologize me.
Can you post a photo of your hub?

It is okay, English is not my primary language ......

Exclude my usb hub, as it is neither part of the "USB tuner" setup, nor the "usb power y cable" setup.

The y-power cable should not be necessary, it is just an extra precaution.

Unfortunately there is still issues when having two "Hauppauge pctv nanostick t2 290e usb-tuner"
(Only one usb-tuner is present in the tuner setup)

Ultimo configuration:
Tuner A: Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL2108) (DVB-S2) - slot A
Tuner B: Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL2108) (DVB-S2) - slot B
Tuner C: Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL6222) (DVB-S2) - slot C
Tuner D: Vuplus DVB-S NIM(AVL6222) (DVB-S2) - slot C
Tuner E: PCTV 290e - USB port
Tuner F: PCTV 290e - USB port (Not present in the tuner setup)

Usb Tuners are located in separate USB ports on the back (usb power y cable is wired, between the two USB ports on the back)
UsbTuner v0.3.17-BETA2 (Build using DVBAPI 5.10)

Issue:
The normal "Tuner handling system" selection/priority/reservation/dataflow
, do normally work like a charm (Slot tuners)
But when having 2 x "Hauppauge pctv nanostick t2 290e usb-tuner"
Somehow it seems, that some parts of the "Tuner handling system", knows that there is "2 x Hauppauge tuners", where other parts of the "Tuner handling system", do not

Looking forward to a solution

"Greensceen loop":
Reproduce procedure:
fta-DVB-T recording in progress via timed timer
Then when selecting another fta-DVB-T channel via channellist, the crash occurres
...
...
...
Crashloop: Restarting gui and crashing again, restarting gui and crashing again , etc etc

Can you test with another USB DVB-T tuner, I mean replacing the 2nd PCTV290E with another model?

BH2.1.6.1

After a dvb-t channel search and some reboots, suddenly both usb-t-tuners where present in the tuner setup.
Tuner E: PCTV 290e - USB port (setup as DVB-T2)
Tuner F: PCTV 290e - USB port (should be setup as DVB-T2, but started as DVB-C)
Ultimo-system totally unstable (DVB-S was unstable to)
(File dvb_debug_bh2161_20150605_EandF_present_butSatTVfuckup.txt)

then i changed the tuner-F setup to DVB-T2:
Tuner E: PCTV 290e - USB port (setup as DVB-T2)
Tuner F: PCTV 290e - USB port (setup as DVB-T2)
(File dvb_debug_bh2161_20150605_EandF_present.txt)

After reboot the tuner-F disappeared
Tuner E: PCTV 290e - USB port
Tuner F: PCTV 290e - USB port (Not present in the tuner setup)

Issues:

Small improvements.... super
Usb-tuner indicator (Thanks):
Tuner-indicator.jpg

It seems that both usb-t-tuners is present in the tuner setup all the time now (so far so good).
But despite the 2 usb-t-tuners being equal, the tuner-setup is not giving me the same options to choose from.
Tuner E: PCTV 290e - USB port (setup as DVB-T2)
Tuner F: PCTV 290e - USB port (DVB-T) (old driver stile)

Tuner E: PCTV 290e - USB port (setup as DVB-T2)

(File: dvb_debug_bh217_20150712_PCTV290e_T2-T2_AfterAwhile_PictureRunningInSmallLoops_notOK.txt)
...
But after some more reboots the, Tuner F is going back to ... not having the same options to choose from:
Tuner F: PCTV 290e - USB port (DVB-T) (old driver stile)
