BH stuck

Totally new to VU+ got secondhand box solo2 when I switch on it freezes at starting GUI (black hole) just before that some error 3 flashed up about service.
Help please.

Are you certain that it's freezing?
Try pressing the menu button, on the remote, and see if you can access the menu. The person who sold it might have quickly loaded an image, to wipe everything they had on it, and didn't bother to finish setting it up, as they wouldn't know the buyers satellite set up.
If not you can flash a new image and set it up yourself.

Put on usb stick and flash and make a new setup.unzip to usb

Interesting message, on the front of your receiver, SES 5 Launch, SES 5 is a satellite located at 4.9E.
Did you press the menu button, on your remote?
If you can't get into the menu do as seth says and load Black Hole 3.0.6.

My apologies for a delayed reply, I had to return to my parents to help out. So after two attempts with different usb sticks I finally got the New BH flashed. Seems to be working ok but always have 'starting gui' sitting in the background!
Coundn't find any services then realised it was on the wrong satellite, hopefully that will correct the time too as I couldn't change it from 1970!!!!
Just scanning now on correct satellite,fingers crossed.
