Hey BH team, Flashed the new image couple days ago and I think it`s very nice job....
I`m trying to get server tuner working on dreambox 7000(gemini 4.7 in flash with UPNP enabled,Ushare).I see tuner folder in dreamboxs hdd,my channelslist and channel.m3u, buffering is showing and nothing happens . on vu+duo I can see record led is lighting.
Is it possible to use server tuner on DB?

1) Meoboot version 1.0 is a NEW VERSION entirely recoded for kernel 3.1.1 images.​
This version of Meoboot is 50% faster than the old version and only compatible with images that share the new kernel 3.1.1.​
As you know the new kernel 3.1.1 based images have a new filesystem (Ubifs).​
Meoboot can extract a Ubifs filesystem and install a full image in about 4 minutes on Vu+ boxes and is much faster than old versions at startup.​
WARNING: THERE IS AN IMPORTANT CHANGE IN MEOBOOT 1.0: This version of Meoboot accepts images in USB.zip format and NOT in NFI format. This is because images in USB format are easier to find and much more readily available.​
WARNING2: This version of Meoboot accepts only 3.1.1 kernel based images​

sorry that's it, here came from my archive. i download again usb.zip and everything is back in orde.
practice the same file in flash and multiboot. thank you

Could I have a new driver today vu + duo today in tar.gz format so I can install them in BH 1.7.1. Please help.

in my experience no HD channels work on atv2 via xbmc and media player, am i doing something wrong?
also any plans to make tuner available to xbox360 or tv dnla systems or is this purely a client hardware issue?

I was very curious to see the new DVB-T drivers and tunner fixes. So yesterday tried dvb-t and all went pretty smooth. A867 device, scanned channels and it found all services. In previous images the snr was fluctuating a lot and it's now very stable.
It looked like all was perfect until I restarted the GUI (tried Master Matrix Elegance HD skin). Audio/video started to be out of sync and channels become quickly unwatchable, it actually lookes like a buffering issue where the stream would actually get stuck in a loop where it would go back a couple of seconds.
I tried a full restart and DVB-T stopped working altogether, 0 channel found during scan.
I had to turn off at the back of the receiver, unplug the A867 device, restart, do another scan and all was good.
Anybody else experiencing the same, Angelo, any idea?

After 48 hours working fine, DVB-T is gone to shit again. I didn't do anything with the image after the first install. The only way to resolve is to shutdown, unplug the tuner, restart and rescan.
For me DVB-T is not reliable at all.

Hello there....
When i press build server for tuner , it says that the server is built it creats the directory /media/hdd/tuner but there is nothing under \tuner....
What am i doing wrong ?

Is there some way how to mount /dev/sdb2 via the Device manager ? I have USB partitioned to FAT32 (sdb1) and EXT2 (sdb2) and Device manager offers to mount only 1st - sdb1.
I don't want to use workaround via "mount" command because of the compatibility during images upgrades.

I have a small question.. i am atm with 1.6.6 ... if i install this which is the latest version i will be able to restore the backup of 1.6.6 to 1.7.1?

You can make a backup by Software Manager ;)
