Black Hole Vu+ Duo2 v.2.0.8 TranscoderSetup crash

Hi all

I have a problem with 2.0.8 in my Duo2, the TranscoderSetup plugin crash every time I try to open it. It gives me the green screen and then E2 restart.

It has never crashed with older versions.

Anyone knows what to do?

The error is

skin.SkinError: {skin.xml}: source 'description' was not found in screen 'TranscodingSetup'!

What skin are you using in your box?

Yep, the skin is the problem. Thanks angelofsky1980. I used the default skin, that still crash on transcode settings.

I downloaded MX reddiamond and then no crash. But then I do not get all the new settings for transcoding.

Are there any updated skins that has the new transcoding settings?
Or can I remove and re-install the default skin in any way?

Another somewhat strange thing is that if I go to Information / About then it shows version 2.0.7.3.
But I installed from the BlackHole-2.0.8-vuduo2_usb.zip downloaded from this site. And I get the new bootlogo for example. Is this correct ot have I ended up with a mixed version?

It's quite impossible that you read 2.0.7.3 instead of flash 2.0.8 image.
Verify CAREFULLY if you have some full backups around your USB sticks and/or HDDs connected to the box and move them to another place and retry the flash process.

I had managed to do a partial upgrade. No idea how that happened, but it was a mix of 2.0.7 and 2.0.8.
I re-flashed once more and now it is 2.0.8. TranscoderSetup is as it should be.
