What is new ?
  • NEW: Add Dvb-T frequency and bandwidth infos in Osd
  • DISABLE manual DNS settings (back to automatic config)

THIS IMAGE CAN BE ONLINE UPDATED FROM VERSION 2.0.2
For those who have problems with the network after image update.
1) Switch to DHCP first in network Configuration to reset network
2) reboot.
After that, you can config your network if you like to change.
DNS name server is automatically configured.

Usually time is catched directly from TP (satellite or terrestrial).... try to tune to a channel in your timezone, shutdown the box and turn on it.

in my "Online BH Image update", it shows none available to upgrade...
Any idea ?

After the last update i got problems with my VU solo2. Every night it goes to deep standby, so i have to push the power button and it boots up from the start. Anyone knows what can cause that?

Set the AutoShutDown plugin.
Green button > AutoShutDown settings.

When i load the new revA, will i lose my chanel list, bougets, tuners setting and recording paths ??

If you made online update i think no becouse online update change only this whot was fixed and added.
Good is made personal backup and have all on backup if in future you will be can change something all your setup will be on backup.

If you will be install image from begined i think in this way all is deleted and you will be losed all your setup.
In online update is no losed.

Hi,

Since Version 2.0 i have a big problem with CrossEPG. Image runs fine until i start using CrossEPG. Downloads work fine, Image works fine for a while after downloading but then crashes on browsing in the Channel List. I tried deleting all CrossEPG Files and all epg.dat files - no change, after downloading fresh EPG Image becomes unstable again. I tried VTI, that works fine, but i prefer bh. I have attached a crash log and copied the (i think) important part here:

[CrossEPG_Loader] /usr/crossepg/crossepg_epgcopy /media/hdd/crossepg/ext.epg.dat /media/hdd/epg.dat
main thread is non-idle! display spinner!

Skin is EclipseHD_SE_HC, but other skins show same problem so i do not think it is skin related.

Problem in epg.dat

Try to do this:

In telnet
init 4
than delete epg.dat
init 3

Hi,

I my case this does not work (and as i wrote above i allready did that a few times). I did a complete fresh install of the image, complete empty harddisk, everything from scratch. The Same Problem still occurs after downloading XEPGDB Providers.
I also did a fresh install of the vti image, downloaded same providers and everything is rock stable. Even if there is a bad entry in epg.dat the vti does not crash. I would use integrated EPG Panel (if that helps) but i cannot select more then one provider for download ? I have 7 Sat Positions and download normally nearly all of them, so that would take me ages. There is another Problem. After using any opentv or mhw epg crypted channels are not decoded anymore (either immediately or after a few zaps) until next reboot.

True, I am using a USB stick for EPG.
Tonight I have download +- 20MB EPG dat file with CrossEPG
+- 6 providers.
Image is stable as a rock
and I have all EPG.
==============
EDIT I will now test with all possible EPG providers
I will post info.

We have 40 MB epg date

and BH image with solo2 stable as a rocks.

And here is the log you can see i have download all providers

I think it is clear
that Solo2 and BH image have no problems with EPG with all providers you can download
The only problem could be the EPG server or the way that you use image
and perhaps putting EPG on HDD (HDD in standby ???)
I have not tested,because i use network HDD.

This test , I have made ​​several times
earlier and the VU + Solo2 never crashed with BH image.
I do not exclude the possibility for crash if EPG server does not send a good files.
But it never happened in my test.
It happened that there was no EPG but not crash.
