Black Hole does not support images not installed in flash.

This latest version of the Black Hole series has been entirely rewritten and improved in the code for maximum stability and performance.

Please note that of all images Black Hole now has the best epg system:

- Integrated OpenEpg

- Rytec dedicated epg.dat

- New system epg.dat outside.

This last feature gives the possibility to various forums or communities to create their favorite EPG data files and load them into a web space.

Community members can then download it from our servers.

This feature provides other benefits such as:

Increase download speed of EPG

Download EPG from any channel

Schedule the download of EPG decoder even during standby

Users can customize the providers using Add / Remove function

I have Vu Solo 2 on my Living Room, I have ordered Vu Solo Se for the bedroom, just like to know, why on the website of Vu+, Vu Solo Se is not there, and does not seems to be any software for this box, this is big surprise because the box is o ready on the market, because the software of Black Hole is based on the Software of Original Box from Vu+, i been told this???, just wondering now if this Black Hole Image is 100% OK for Vu Solo Se???

Dear Solo SE users,

Any feedback about the audio/video (sound/picture) quality?
How does it compare to Solo2, Duo or Duo2 models?

The excellent review done by ev0 on this section is missing this audio/video aspects.

I think picture, audio quality should be same with Vu Solo2, as specs are the same, but i will test when i get mine, and write here!!

Received my Vu Solo Se Last Night, installed Black Hole Image all perfect, Picture is Perfect, Audio OK, the only think not very happy with is the heat, this box seems to get hot not very hot, but hotter than my VU Solo2, on the back of the box the Lnb IN and Loop Out are Written upside down, is this normal or mistake made by factory???? please check picture below, Thanks!!! 20140804190948.jpg

Don't worry about lnb in/out being written upside down, the tuners are switchable between other models so some are produced written 1 way around, some are written the other way around.

It won't affect the performance.

Yes sure, i know that nothing to do with the performance, maybe i was thinking writing mistake, what do you think about the heat? , is that up to normal?, or should have been better some fan to have been installed?, on the CPU or Top, because i have tested lot of satellite receivers, i am re seller, i think the heat is the biggest enemy of the satellite receivers, Thanks!!

I think the heat isn't too bad, I am sure my duo2 is hotter.

Well i bought a Solo SE and went tothe website of open PLI.

I am new at the sattelite boxes, and tried the Original image on the Solo SE and i didn't like it.
A friend of mine uses Open PLI and advised me to use it.
So went to the website to download it, but no image for Solo SE, and they said:

We haven't been asked yet, VU+ haven't supplied us with a BSP layer for it, and we don't have one to test it on.

So at the moment no plans and no date.

But i flashed the Black Hole image on it and i like it!
Maybe it's possible to make a XBMC addon?:p
