It's my opinion you are wrong.
You are using a skin not yet supported into this Board (HDGlass).
About your problem, I suppose you use CrossEPG instead of internal BH EPG system.

First of all try with a BH skin and next try the integrated BH EPG system.
Last option is to enable a swap file of 128Mb.

You are using a skin not yet supported into this Board (HDGlass).( i been using this skin in the last 7 or 8 versions of B.H and always was working fine, I like also some matrix skins but at the moment I was happy with this,)
About your problem, I suppose you use CrossEPG instead of internal BH EPG system.I use Cross Epg who is integrated in this image and regulary is working fine, I not understand If that will resolve my problem "my epg backup is not working after a crasslog"

First of all try with a BH skin and next try the integrated BH EPG system. ( will resolve my back up problem?? because the Cross epg is working fine, the BH Epg system I dind't use yet because i wass happy with the other one. I will try one day , then to see.
Last option is to enable a swap file of 128Mb.
( can you explain how to do it)

thanks very much for you aprecciate help and support.

Bloody nightmare. Since I updated I haven't been able to get the wireless connection working. The Nameserver is never recognized. I've left the VU+ dongle out when reflashing the image, and I've not used both the dongle and USB stick at the same time.

I've reflashed like 6 times.

I tried DHCP, I even tried hardwiring the box with the RJ45. Even then the Nameserver wasn't recognized. I noticed on the LAN configuration screen that the DNS 1 Namerserver has saved itself as the boxe's assigned IP oppose the my ISP's DNS that inputted/configured, so I'm guessing it's a bug. But hey, for some totally unknown reason when I reverted back to using the WLAN adapter, when I done yet another Network check the Nameserver suddenly and for the first time since updating checked in and now after several hours of trying to figure out this problem it mysteriously sorted itself out.

I'm just annoyed that I've spent so much time messing around with this. I've persevered with this image because I really like BH.

Oh I wish I never updated. 4.8E becomes 4.9E and after a reboot 4.8Ö or 5E. Will never get my boquets in order again. Reminds me of the oe2 times on Dreambox all over again. Like taking a step back two years in time. Sigh.

It is all due to the changed satellites.xml file

if you have your channelsetup elsewhere
then transfer your channelsetup to your box again (dreambox edit).

if not then copy your old satellites.xml file to /etc/tuxbox and reboot and setup your tuners again.

Or generate your own personal satellites.xml file and copy it to /etc/tuxbox and reboot and setup your tuners again.

http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/new-source-to-build-your-satellites-xml-files.6510/
( Active only (and normally Ku-band only) )

Fyi:
After transferring your new satellites.xml to /etc/tuxbox
Reboot your box
Check your Tuner configuration, making sure it is still as expected (My Tuner configuration was changed wrongly)

Fyi:
The satellites.xml file is changed again in BH2.0.2 Rev. C

Best regards

Yeah, I got everything working OK whilst on rev A, my old bouquets from 1.7.x worked fine and I uploaded them with DreamboxEdit.
When I later updated to rev C everything just got messy, two of the satellites had switched names and the bouquets got messed up,
and also it seems that the satellite names change if you switch language on the box...
I ended up in rescanning all satellites and manually edited the bouquets in DreamboxEdit and re-uploaded them.
All OK for now.

How to get .mkv subtitles to work again? In BH 1.7.x double press yellow and there was subtitles, now they are all gone?

Use AUDIO button on your remote and then select "Subtitles" to enable them.

No worky. Pressing twice on yellow is the same as pressing AUDIO and then selecting Subtitles.
Same .mkv file had Subtitles on 1.7.x but not on 2.0.2, the list is just empty. Something is amiss.
Are there any good mediaplayers out there except for built in Media player or Media Center?
