Instructions to connect the box to your Hdmi-Cec compatible Tv:

3) Click Save (red) button and your box will try to connect with your Tv.
All Done. If your Tv is compatible you can now control Tv and Box with Tv rc.

I installed the new version on my Vu+ (Samsung TV) The remote control option works great inspite of the fact that it's a little bit slower than the VU+ remote control, but the problem is that the other options don't work any more ( the 3 options, even if they were working on the 1.6.3 ) thanks a lot BH Team you are really the best ever :yahoo:

When I use my VU+ there is no problem with the remote control option but when I switch to an other source (TV, other HDMI port...) the Anynet disconnects and when I want to come back to my VU it doesn't want to connect and I have to standby the tv and boot it again in order to make it work again ( the 3 options don't work anymore ) :)

If you change source and control other devices, to get back control of Vu+ box you should make a search of devices with your Samsung TV and the control come back to TV Remote control.

When I make a search I find 'blackHole' but when I choose it I have an error message which said that my device is not connected :)

Tried it on my Philips Cineos:
Only VU+ Power-off => TV Power-Off works. Others don't
-
TV on different input does not switch to the right HDMI either when VU+ is powered on.
See also comments on how HDMI works and the different versions for advanced features. I see also remarks about Anynet, which is Samsung proprietary. should only be used if you make tables per brand.
-
I see also a seting for the HDMI port selection. The reason escapes me as HDMI-CEC is designed to work with any port. It keeps working when changing ports. My Samsung-Bluray, Onkyo-Receiver, Philips-TV, Philips-DVD all work together without ever specifying any port. If I power-on a playback device the TV (or Amplifier) switches immediately to the right port is alraedy ON if not is it powered on too.

When I changed the HDMI-CEC settings in the TV the 3 options are working again :) but always the same problem concerning switching to an other source :(

Reporting a problem. The old backup of whole image USB Backup solo, does not seem to work. It freezes when booting image. "Starting Enigma 2", no spinner appears. I havent had any problems on earlier images < 1.6.1. I have exactly the same settings and plugins on Duo, and no problems there. I´ve tried on a few different Solos with the same problem. It started with image 1.6.1 and above.
