Be patient? It was 2 months ago that I sent my first email to them. Imagine if I didn't have the money to buy a replacement receiver in the meantime. I'd want to be a very patient person to handle that :)

I imagine they are very bussy with the new boxes.
It will all end good at the end I'm sure.

I believe for all above reasons it is better to buy Sat equipment from your local/neighbourhood reseller.(If Any)
The Price is most of the times (but not always) a bit higher but you get better/faster support.
I express my personal opinion due to my personal experience.
VU+ support is always resourceful. have patient.

Hi guys!
i have a jtag for all vu+ and other stb's on BCM7335, BCM7325 and BCM7413. I'll fix flash ( resolder/programming new), MAC adress, serial, board rev. nr.. Power supply as well.

Just getting back to this one, did the OP check the 'now well known cap C807' on the mainboard?
All the symptoms point to that and maybe even the regulator fix too

I have the same issue with my duo and red light. I have changed the cap c807, i have ussed Broadband studio and used jtag to innstall cfe_Duo

But still gets the redlight. Does anyone have a suggestions?
