Hello. I would like to ask VUplus community with above mentioned problem.

SITUATION:
- VU+ Duo 2, one twin DVB-S2 tuner.
- two Irdeto ICE cards with the same channel subscriptions
- Black Hole 2.0.4
- two Technisat Technicrypt CW CAM
- CAM are tested in Technisat Isio Digit S1 receiver with the same cards. All is working in this receiver without problems. Descrambling works.

PROBLEM:
- When only one Technisat CAM is installed in Duo2 descrambling works but after restart it is mandatory to manually change TV channel for descrambling start
- When two Technisat CAM are installed descrmabling is not working. Switching to different channel has no effect. Blue Panel and setting CI as default interface has no effect. Changing CI assignment has no effect.

But when I switch on PIP and swap pictures descrambling is suddenly working OK (Tuner B is main picture, Tuner A is small picture in PIP). When I switch pictures in PIP back (Tuner A is main picture, Tuner B is small picture in PIP) descrambling stop works. Strange.

With FTV channels there are no problems on both tuners.

Have you any idea how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Has anybody got any idea? Is there any recommended CAM for Duo2 working correctly in pair?

CI CAMs who support same CAIDs can be problematic.
I've tested a similar setup with 2 Viaccess compatible CI CAMs and two different subscriptions.
When I used both CAMs none of 2 cards decrypt but one per time works correctly.

I think it's a little bug into CI subsystem. You must write directly to Vu+ with your problem.

Hi , anyone may help me? CI+ Cryptoworks modul with original card is not working :( Private me plizz!

There is no needs to write PMs for this problem.
Not all CI+ CAMs are supported in Linux STBs. Most of them don't work.
If you need support for this kind of hardware, write directly to Vu+ (www.vuplus.com) about adding full CI+ support.
