Can someone please help me with VU+UNO Falsh

Hi Guys

I have received my VU+UNO box today and i'm trying to flash image with usb but it doesnt work.

This is how i am flashing

1 Formated my usb fat32
2 Created a directry called VUplus and UNO
3 Unziped the files in UNO folder
4 Switcjh off the box
5 inserted the USB
6 Power the box

and nothing happeds ;(

It's just starts and thats it.

What i am doing wrong , Anyone have any idea.

Is there any other way i can flash this image on my VU+UNO ?

Just take the folder vuplus out of the unzipped files and put that on the stick, nothing else!!
And don`t forget point 7

Sorry guys ..... Anyway after flasing Black Hole image ..... I have no satellite signal ... Does anyone know why ?

It's showing me only Hotbird and Astra 19e my satellite is on Astra 28e , When i put satellite xml file in ect i can see the Astra 28e now BUT still it's showing that No LNB and no signal ..... It was showing signal on original image but not on Black Hole.

Yes i did everything . .... Now i have flashe the box with Vix image and i can see the signal and lnb in setting ... I guess something is wrong with BlackHole image .

try to flash again BH.
maybe something went wrong by flashing first time.

one question, did you Upgrade FPGA with v4.4 before u flashed the Uno?

Maybe try Flashing your box with an older version of Blackhole 1.7.2 or older and see if that works for you, then you can save the setting, then reinstall whatever version you want. Just an idea maybe it might work. Whatever you do, don't give up you will not be disappointed. Hope this helps.

Use a clean channel list (i.e not a list that has been used in another image first).

I had similar issue with my Duo in the past.

I tried to send it the channel list from my Ultimo that had been used in Black Pole image and it would not work (no signal), but as soon as I put an older channel list on that had only been used in my Duo, all was fine again.

Thanks for the reply refedit and datainfo 1 ... I use to have Blade 7000 which was very simple to use and pic Q was verd good . ... I received this box today and i didn't the Pic Q and the menu, I dont' know may be it's the image .... Anyway when go in to FPGA i can see lots of box files and i have no clue what do to next .

It would be nice if someone can make pic or video and teach how to do upgrade.

I have put satellite xml file in the image and i can see the Astra 28.2 E now and it's scanning.

press GREEN BUTTON then and scroll down till you see FPGA UPDRADE.. click DOWNLOAD,you'll see a file named PRO.DAT or something alike and then press to UPGRADE.

Does anyone have used the Blade 7000 3D box bcz Pic Q was soooooo goond and it was very simple to use and the price was £130 .

I have paid £249 for VU+NUO bcz reviews for this box were good ..... BUT tell you truth, I didn't like this box ......

Linux boxes are another world respect standard consumer boxes like Blade 7000 ...
On linux based boxes like Uno (and others too) is needed some things to set but in general it's sufficient to connect the box to TV system, coax cable and start view television.
If you use third party images published into respective board/sites like this one for BlackHole Team, all should work correctly with a correct setup of your box.
If you use backup images made by some people... we cannot guarantee anything and discourage the usage of this kind of "images".

I hope you can re-evalutate your Linux SAT experience: the possibilities to grow our knowledge is better with a box with open source software on it.

Dears ,
after an crashlog inhdd ,the green screen says :imagecreation failed probable causes couldbe>no spaces left on back up device>no writting permission on back device,
Fullbackup:tar write error:broken pipe etc.I ask your help because i can't install the new image or restore the 1.7.3 Thanks
