Hi, I have a VuPlus Solo with BH 2.0.1 rev.A
My problem is that i can't connect with D-Link DWA-123 unless the AP is open (without password). It seems that D-Link DWA-123 can't handle passwords.
Thank you for your help.

What security protocol did you tested on the PC? WPA2?
On the Solo did you use the same settings and preshared key as on the PC?

Sorry but I can't update to 2.0.8.1. I use my android phone as an AP for my PC and for the Vuplus. I don't know how to share the internet connexion via the RJ45 from the PC :(

It's me who thanks you very much. I was trying to figure out how to make a LAN connection with my PC so that I can use the script, I finally made it. So here is the wifi.txt after the upgrade to 2.0.8.
By the way the VuPlus still doesn't recognize my usb wifi.

You have to activate those very important settings on the wireless AP, I suppose that the Vu+ box should automatically use them if available (I don't remember any specific option to set in the box).

It's a driver/software functionality, not hardware related.
However some simplified access points might not always show these settings: what AP do you use?

The device seems not yet included into BH drivers.
I don't have the possibility now (I'm at work) to check sources but it's relevant the hardware revision of your stick printed on the label on the back of it.
I've seen the specs of both revisions avaiable on the market and both can be supported.

In the first post daryou said that his wifi dongle works if the wireless network doesn't use any security protocol.
In this case might it work if no drivers were included in the BH image?

IMHO there is a security protocol incompatibility with the implementation of the android hot spot (generally very poor...).
To be sure daryou should try to connect the box with a normal AP/wireless router.
