Duo freezes in standby

Hello everybody.
I have to report a new problem with the latest BlackHole VU+ Duo image.
In fact, after putting the Duo in standby, the box freezes after +- 2 hours. The clock indication on the vfd display freezes as well. No connection possible via Lan. The remote control doesn't respond anymore and you have to do a hard reboot (using the power button) to bring the box back to life.
Could you please report this problem to the developers if not done already?
I heard as well that the VTI 4.0 image has the same problem.

I think you must enable your fan in standby.
Try to post here a crashlog of your error.

Hello again.
The fan is enabled in standby.
Crashlog isn't present becaus the box does not crash but only freeze.
I think having found the problem: Apparently, the automatic crashlog report is causing this freeze. I turned it off and for the moment, my Duo didn't freeze again.

i am having same problem with ultimo and solo but duo is ok. i tried lot of different things but no working on solo . i am putting 1 6 6 back on

update: apparently, it's the fan setup for standby that is causing the freezes.

If i set it to work for 5 minutes every hour, it freezes after some time.
If i turn it off, i have no freeze at all in standby.

Is there a newer version for the fan in standby plugin?

i have the same problem with vu +duo , the stb is working shoeing a digital terrestrial channel and in random time from 5 minutes to 5 hours latter it will freeze and after that with a hard power reset it comes back on , it happens also if its on a satellite channel viewing it from my local card

P.S
on the freezing mode the front display shows the channel but no respond from the control or the front stb buttons .

Hi,
I have BH 1.7.2 in flash and it was OK, no freezing at all, then I put it in multiboot as well and there is no freezing either

i have same thise problem on my vu+duo,bh1.7.2 in flash and bh 1.7.2 on meoboot,and box sometimes in standbay freez.fix just power off

I don not think its image issue!
I would recommend to contact Vu Support or check your DisqC and settings configurations!

m8 box freezing,no disqC,i cant tourn on vu+duo,when i tourn on on power butn box worke normaly.At night when i go to sleep i tourn off on standbay,and when i wake up box is freezen in standbay.

Has anyone got a solution for this problem? I am on BH 1.7.9 and have this problem. Only way to get out of it is to use the power on/off switch.

Make a new image flashing,,,add swap file,,,and NO backups!

I have a vu + ultimo , I made ​​him different wallpaper. pli, bh .. even back up, all well and good only in STANDBY (after you stop) after several minutes is FREEZE, freezes, (does not respond to any commands, remote control or front rec.) only display shows the time when it happened ....

I tried with usb (picon) without usb in the back ... and so on NO (re) starts than the hard reset button on the back.
...ufff
