Duo2 backup while updating ?

I have curren firmware 3.05 k planning to update to 3.08. Will my personal backup work with it ?

No, as always. Save your bouquets and, if you have a complicated tuner setting, the file
settings
located in /etc/enigma2: all its lines starting with "nims" can theoretically copied into the new one.

Don't use old back ups, when loading a newer version, or a different image, it can cause problems.
You can backup your channels, and bouquets, using dreamboxedit.
