I consistently measured about 15 MB/s write speeds. The drive is supposed to have more like 25 MB/s writes.
I've just found this thread here. This might be the best place to raise my question:
Hello,
I want to be able watch "recordings" out of the vu+ ultimo's local network. I want to be able to record directly into the GB microSD card which is recognized by both vu ultimo and rest of the devices listed below.
My issue is related to file transfer media used for that purpose. I want to be able to watch all those "recordings" from
1-Samsung galaxy sIII android cell phone
2-Asus google nexus 7" tablet
3-Apple ipod touch
4-Fly auto navigation system dvd player
I have already been able to transfer "recordings" by connecting to vu+ ultimo over "wireless ftp" while I am in the same network by using a pc to be able to write the "recordings" to a flash usb/microSD card formatted for "windows" or "android" systems instead of linux file systems. But this is taking too much time compared to directly copying "recordings" by vu+ ultimo does itself. (connect flash usb/microSD card directly to vu+ device if it's in recognized file system format like /ext2 )
Appreciate all your help.
Thanks,
Soner
