Hi, have you solved it somehow? I have WD My Book 1T and is not recognized by VU+. Thanks.

With 1TB disk should not be a problem to recognize it.
What is your disk connection? eSata, Internal SATA or USB?
What kind of Filesystem do you have on disk? NTFS, ext2, ext3 or other?

better to make a full reboot with the remote before give that command
sometimes at the first power-on the hd could be not detected

i hoped in another answer, i don't what to say if still the same

hmm if its free try to format as ext3 with a pc before to connect it to the box, if you want made a test

Pease, anyone hase a solution for this problem,
when I connect my WD external hdd 3T, it is detected as 800 , and when I go into media player I find the HDD, but when I go inside it is empty, then there are lots of files!!
ANY SOLUTION, PLEASE

Why Vu + duo does not recognize external HDD 3Tera, is no solution for this?
