I think is a partition problem.
Could you please split your drive into 2 partitions ?
This should solve the problem.

With 1TB disk should not be a problem to recognize it.
What is your disk connection? eSata, Internal SATA or USB?
What kind of Filesystem do you have on disk? NTFS, ext2, ext3 or other?

eSATA. The disk has been formatted to ext3 before connected to VU+. Thank you

You should login on your box via telnet and do the following command:

fdisk -l

and report in this thread the output.

The command shows some useful data about your HDD if it's detect by box.

better to make a full reboot with the remote before give that command
sometimes at the first power-on the hd could be not detected

hmm if its free try to format as ext3 with a pc before to connect it to the box, if you want made a test

Pease, anyone hase a solution for this problem,
when I connect my WD external hdd 3T, it is detected as 800 , and when I go into media player I find the HDD, but when I go inside it is empty, then there are lots of files!!
ANY SOLUTION, PLEASE
