hdmi-cec no passthrough to receiver

hi,

I managed to setup hdmi-cec without problems.

If I press A/V receiver volume up/down or mute in the hdmi-cec plugin menu it works like a charme.
If i press volume up/down or mute in normal use it changes the volume from the vuplus and NOT of the A/V receiver.

My Hardware: VU+ Uno BH 2.0.5 rev B, Sony TV, Onkyo A/V

How can i set the volumecontrol to passthrough to the A/V receiver in the BH image?
In other images there is a option for that.

Hi,

i have seen that there is this entry in the settings file of other images : config.hdmicec.volume_forwarding=true

If i put this line in the file it will be writen, but after a reboot the entry is not in there anymore.....

How can i change the file permanently?

I think you should set your Vu+ remote control to work with your TV.
In this way you can use directly TV volume control and when the AV receiver is switched on it's volume should be controlled by the same remote control.

This is not a solution.... Why we have CEC???? In other images this is working without problems.....

Cec into BH images is the one developed by vu+ forking the original pli code.

Ask directly vu+ to implement the function you need

thanx for the answer. This means that the plugin in the vti and aaf image is a fork of the original code?

How can i set this line for test in the settings file?
