could somebody give me a bit of help please (I hope I'm in the right forum )
when certain channels are playing there is a running commentary dubbing over the programme which is really really annoying
I've tried absolutely everything I can think of and can't get to the bottom of it. could a v kind poster help me out with switching this annoying feature off please

You can try to switch to another audio track, if avaiable.

Can you please provide more information, regarding the programs, and channels, if it's recorded into the program you can't remove it/

sky one does it, and a couple of the kids channels, especially disney Jnr, can't check yam as I'm at work on nights. it does it watching live tv so to speak, and also if it's a recorded programme.
thank you for your help

went into av settings and under Dolby digital/dts downmix was aac downmix, I changed that to no and it "seems" to have solved the problem. I will give it a day or 2 and try other channels where I had the same problem, and report back if I am still getting issues
thank you so much for trying to help me, kindness a plenty on here

Hi, I find that certain channels have audio commentary that comes and goes and if and when I notice it I press audio and then change the setting it's on to a corresponding one and it changes, sometimes 2 options to choose from or 3, try each until you have the setting you need to be on. Works for me every time.

thanks mate ;-) I thought I had it sorted, but just watching a recording of a league of their own and the bloody thing is happening again
so I've done what you have said, and can only but hope that's the way forward ;-)
thanks again
