LCD PROBLEM

I bought VU+ DOU recently and installed latest blackhole image. Everything work perfectly apart from no channel info come on the lcd screen of VU+. if i go in the menu it is written on the lcd screen or if do scan it also comes up in the lcd screen but when i change the channel, channel change perfectly but it does not showed in the lcd screen of VU+. Instead there is written " NO SERVICE FOUND" on the lcd screen. unless i press menu on the remote and it showed " menu" on the lcd screen.
Can somebody help me to solve this problem. thanks

I did try to remove or uninstall the LCD PICONS. but when i go to ADDONS i find only ***** entry, no other entry. I could not find LCD PICONS in plugins either. Can you please tell me how to uninstall these. I find LCDPICONS and VFDPICONS folder when i ftp to my box. do I need to remove these folder or any other way to uninstall. Many thanks

Hi.
I was having the same problem no service written on my vu+ dou lcd screen. I read this post and specially the post where user has been BANNED for 1 week. The guy is asking for problem with LCDPICCONS and how to remove them , he is not asking for support for any illegal software. he has just mention the name of the file or folder( ). Angelofsky1980 , you should read and more important u should understand before u BANNED somebody. I do not wanted to write anything but your comments make me write something. I advise you to consult somebody before you banned any user on their questions. BY USING WORD CRIME, IS NOT A CRIME AND THE PERSON WHO USE THIS WORD IS NOT A CRIMINAL. IF SO THEN EVERYBODY IN THIS WORLD IS CRIMINAL.

i also have this problem with the vu+ duo, my box only displays the programe that is on (eg eastenders) only after i press the epg button? and does not change when the channel is changed? any help would be great thanks

Hi there,

I see long discussion here but no answer to the question :(
I just messed with picons yesterday on my VU+DUO2 and now have unreadable LCD screen.

How can I remove badly installed picons?
Any help appreciated.
