My USB DVBT stick not recognized

I tried to connect a USB Technaxx DVBT stick S4 to the front USB of my VU solo but it isn't recognized...
I go to setuup --> service searching --> tuner configuration and I can only see the internal DVBS2 tuner.

Is there something else I should do? Find and install drivers maybe?
Is it possible that it is not compatible with VU solo? Is there a list of compatible USB DVBT sticks?
Thanks

I need the output of this command:

Code:
cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

I don't know your device :(

Ok, check out the following 3 screenshots.
I couldn't figure out how to copy paste the text so I had to take screenshots of DCC telnet window to show you the content.

Thanks for any help.

I need one more info:
the output of "dmesg" command when your box is restarted with the USB DVB-T stick connected. You can store the output into a file with this command:

Code:
dmesg > /tmp/dmesg.txt
Next, upload dmesg.txt file here.

Install the attached package and reboot your box... This should solve your problem

Here is what I did:
I unziped the content of your file and tranferred it to lib/firmware.
I restarted my Solo, and went to tuner configuration where there was only again the internal tuner and no other tuner.
Excuse my ignorance and I hope I have installed it correctly but it didn't work ... :(

I just wanted to tell you that I made a clean format installing again the BH 178 image and installed your drivers first of all without doing anything else. (not even configuring the internal sat reciever)
My external DVT reciever was seen instantly this time  and configured without problems. :yahoo:
So, I wanted to thank you for you awesome work! :victory:
Respect! :notworthy::notworthy: :thanks:

Hi there,

I have a Cinergy T2 usb tuner, and was wondering if anyone knows if it is supported in BH 1.7.8? I've been searching online and was led to this page:

http://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/TerraTec_Cinergy_T2

That links to firmware here:
http://linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/dvb-hw/dvbusb-fx2/termini/

But can anyone tell me how to install that firmware (and if it is safe to do so?).

Thanks a lot. Any help is appreciated.

Your device should be already supported.

Wow you're totally right. I had issues some weeks ago when I was using VIX, but now with BH I just plugged it in and rebooted. Can't believe it. HD quality as well. Thanks so much. Very glad I moved to BH.
