Hi there. I have a Nanostick t2 with my vu+ duo 2 (which I hear people have managed to get working) I managed to scan some channels once using the week antenna that was supplied with the unit, but since then I have had no luck. I have had no success in being able to scan T channels here in the UK.

Update to this I have got an adaptor so that I can use my roof aerial with my nano stick. I has able to do a scan using my USB T tuner and it pulled in about 53 stations, but they did not show up on my satellite bouquet. I tried restarting and performing a new scan, but I get a message saying " error failed to scan" Thanks for any help that you can offer me.

try to restart GUI, I must do so after every powercycle/reboot.

Thanks for the tips guys. That seems to have done the trick. All up and running now. I will test more later but I am going out now. I managed to test record a freeview channel and watch some sat at the same time, so all is great. Thanks once again for the help.

First of all, similar problem. Solo2 box. After clear BH2.0.4 install, PCTV Systems DVB-T2 290e nanoStick worked normally. But after I connected USB stick to my box it lost and can't find cannels. Restart didn't fix the probleb for me.
Completely random I found solution. I installed Device Manager and after that nanoStick found all installed channels. But problem is that every time I connect something to USB port it loose all again.
Then I uninstall Device Manager and reinstall it again. Now it works correctly till today. Maybe it will help somebody temporarily. I'm not specialist, so I don't know reason. I hope in next release they correct the problem.

Try to connect nanostick to external powered USB hub. Maybe there is problem with powering USB tuner. External powered USB hub with own power supply can be used for test and in case of success also for problem workaround (tuner attached in external powered USB hub is still running when VUplus box is switched off)

?? Don't think so Nanostick LED is off then

When I wrote "running" I ment permanently powered, permanently ready for VUplus box driver startup, permanently in soft standby when box is switched off. LED is switched on after driver startup.

My college had similar problem with Aver Volar HD and he solved it by connecting USB tuner to powered external hub. Now there is not necessary manually restart box after starting it from deep standby for external tuner correct function.

OK, but it is very difficult for me to know what you mean when you don't write it. :)

and yes I use external USBhub with external power, and still some what I think is timing issues, with this Nanostick.
Need to restart GUI after powercycle, reboot (don't use deep standby but the same goes for that), so no need to restart box for me.

I have Pinnacle Nanostick T2 290e now at home and I have the same problem as cyborgpunte (see above). Nanostick is correctly detected but it doesn't work until user manually restarts GUI (after power cycle). After every power cycle manual GUI restart is needed for Nanostick correct functionality. The same problem is in BH 2.0.4 and VTI 6.0.0. After GUI restart Nansotick is working without any problem.

Nanostick is attached to external selfpowered USB hub. Connecting Nanostick directly to Duo2 doesn't solve problem.

Is there any idea for solving this issue?

Is there any idea how to solve problem with Pinnacle Nanostick T2 290e? It is general problem. It is only DVB-T2 capable tuner for vu+ boxes. In current state it is unusable (timer recordings with this tuner don't work). See above for more details. Actually tested with BH 2.0.5 rev. B with no success.

Is there any progress with Pinnacle Nanostick T2 290e problem? Did anybody try this USB tuner in BH with success (without above mentioned problem)?
