Hello forum, I just popped by to say hello. I don't even have my box yet (It's on it's way). I have been reading up on images and was looking for the latest Black hole download. I was directed here but I can't see where to get it from.
This is the description of what I have ordered....vu solo 2 original Linux system decoder Vu+ solo2 1300Mhz CPU Twin tuner dvb-s2..... I am a little worried by the word "Original" have I ordered something ancient? Or would flashing (Get me with the jargon) with Black hole negate that anyway.

I have a feeling that I will be a regular visitor here and I thank this forum for being here to support us newbies

Just a post script, I paid $203 inc. shipping. I am guessing that it is a clone for that price and that the word "Original" does not mean that it's genuine.

Look in the VU+ Solo2 Black Hole Images section, the latest Black Hole is 2.1.0.1 and can be found here:

This forum does not offer any support to clone receivers, as they are of poor quality.
I advise you contact your supplier and ask if the VU+ Solo2 is genuine, and insist you do not want a clone.
If it is a clone I personally would refuse delivery and demand a refund, as it wasn't what you wanted.

I have found pictures on you-tube of genuine and clone versions. The placement of connections on the back is different. Mine appears to be genuine. I tried to post the links but I was prevented because I am new to this forum.

You can't post live links, until you reach a number of posts, or time served.
In any case most forums don't like live, external, links.
You can still post links, using the code function, click on the code option, top right of the reply box, then paste your link, into it, and click insert.

I hope that this works. I find it hard to believe that it is this simple to identify clones.
