Solo2 No services / No lock on some DVB-S2 transponders

Hello,

Two DVB-S2 transponders seem to be "mute" on my Solo2 (same problem with an old Duo).
I use the latest VTI image (7.0), and I use a flat SmartSat "dish", that works for any other transponders

Here are the bad guys :

ASTRA 1M (19,2°E) : 12012.00 / V / DVB-S2 / 8PSK / 29700 / 2/3 / 57.5 Mbps (ie.: French CANAL + HD)
and
ASTRA 2E (28,2°) : 10847.00 / V / DVB-S2 / 8PSK / 23000 / 2/3 / 44.5 Mbps (ie.: BBC 2 HD)

When I lauch a manual scan on these transponders, 0 services are found.

I have already tried a lot of things :
  • Setting my dish alignment (with rotor) : the signal is strange; it doesn't really change when I move the dish, and above all : it doesn't lock, although apparently stong enough to be locked....
  • Changing the signal rate (29700 to 29000 on the first one for example), no results
  • Uploading a new satellite.xml > no result
  • Triying a manual / automatic scan > no result
  • uploading a vhannibal lame list > no result
Of course, I can watch BBC 1 HD on the scottish version that is on an other transponder and Canal plus france or BBC 2 in SD, but these solutions are not satisfactory on the long term.

Thanks for your precious help...

Change SR is not a good idea because it's part of tune parameters.
I'll check today if I can tune these two TPs.

I found on an other forum that, apparently - whatever Pilot ON means, it's wrong. It needs to be set to Pilot OFF. (I really don't know if my pilot if on or off, but I'll try it tonite and will make a report).

If you have other suggestions, please feel free to report it.

Ok, it's me again...

I have tested the Pilot OFF trick, and it didn't work.

But I have progressed since then : I have tried my old VU+ DUO on an other "dish" : my mother's dish that is a newer model of Selfsat (~2012) : the Selfsat 30D

>>> My model is an old model : Selfsat 10D (~2008)

And suprise : the astra 2 frequencies were found (I didn't try it on the astra 1 as long as my mother's dish is not mobile...)

I'm quite surprised that there are frequency "holes" on my dish, but it should explain my problems...

Feel free to give me your views, thanks for your help.
