I suggest to start with a clean image without previous packages and use only the lats released (PCSC-lite 1.7.4 and their dependencies).
I've a PCSC reader and works regularly from one month approx.

maybe there is a conflict between the 2 driver or 2 pcscd running or something ?
do you have a command to give me to check if all ok ? or log and so to help you detect the issue

You can try these commands on your box (telnet session):
Code:
/etc/init.d/pcscd stop
killall pcscd
- reinstall the drivers v2 for your reader -
/etc/init.d/pcscd start

Try to start PCSCD daemon by hand with this set of commands:
Code:
/etc/init.d/pcscd stop
pcscd -f
Verify if your reader is correctly detected...
