Positioner Problem

Vuplus Duo, genuine from new,an early product. Blackhole 2.1.7.01, Kernal 3.9.6

My positioner has stopped remembering the location of satellites.

The only way I can use the box is to tune to a station/satellite and then turn the box off from the power button.

When I power on the box goes to the satellite and station.

If I try to tune a second satellite the dish will move but not be remembered.

I cant remember when this started but I think it was when I tried a software update I don’t know what.

Ive thought about a hard reset but lack the courage.

An experts view would be appreciated

In antenna setup or in the same area as you set the lnb type. You will need to scroll down and change the diseqc setting to 1.2 to see the motor options.

If using Black Hole, and Diseqc 1.2, then go into the Menu, Setup, Service Searching, Tuner Cofiguration, and select the Tuner, that's connected to the motor.
Change the Configuration Mode to Advanced, Diseqc Mode to 1.2, and store your satellites, e.g. Astra 1, 19.2E, position 1.
Next go to motor setup and manually move the dish to Astra 1, then save it, and so on, the Tuner Configuration position has to be unique, for each different satellite, and motor set up to match that position.
Why are you using Diseqc 1.2?
Do you have a V-Box II and 36v motor?
