Problem with recording on usb flash drive or hdd

Hi friends
I have a problem with my solo se
When im recording on usb media it start recording good but when i try to play back it
The recorded movie is pixelated and with very lags
It happened on both wd my passport hdd and patriot mass storage rage 16Gb
Can any body help me?

There can be two problems:
1. your USB deivce need more electical power to work regularly and runs at full power
2. the format (filesystem) of your USB device is slow and not disigned for Linux systems like our boxes.

Whats the best file system type for our box?
Ntfs , fat32 , .....?
hdd was beter than the flash in recording
Before 6 month ago this problem dose not exist with same devices.
Even i done a factory reset and updated the box to the last version but nothing changed and the problem does exists.

Best filesystem are EXT2/3/4 that are Linux native. NTFS and FAT32 are Windows-native and not well performed for Linux machines.
