Hey every body,
I have a problem with recording on my VU+ DUO with Black Hole 1.6.5.
When I make a timer on two channels, at the same time only the one is recording fine, the other record is begin made, but when I select "play" it starts, and it writing "END" on the TV, 5 sec. after I have pressed "play".

My installation/setup is like following:
Europe Dish 88 cm - Triax TD 88 with 4 LNB/discqC (1°W, 5°E, 13°E and 19°E)
2 WAY Splitter TR85550-A / 1 in 2 out
VU+ DUO Twin DVB-S2 Linuxbased with 500GB HDD.

With this kind of switch, you can record 2 channels on both polarization (V or H).

With your configuration, you can make more than one recording, at the same time, only on the same transponder.

Moreover, you don't need to use an external splitter, you can use the internal splitter.

Okay so if I wan to record on 1°W and 19°E at same time, I need another setup ?

You need a DiseCQ switch for every LNB of the box and a dual out LNB for every LNB you have installed on dish.
Code:
                                      LNB 1W LNB 19.2E
                                  Exit1 Exit2 Exit1 Exit2
The both Exit1 will be connected to DisecQ switch to one exit and make the both connections with Exit2 connected to the other box LNB connection.

So I actually need 2 LNB with 2 out put and 1 DiSEqC more, or can I do it, if I put the 2 way splitter on one of the LNBs with a direct cable to one of the tuners ?

There are several solution for your problem.

If you need to make more than one recording, at the same time, on the same single satellite, you need an LNB with two output.
The first LNB output have to be connected directly to a tuner and the second LNB output connected to the DiSEqC switch.

If you want to be able to make more than one recording, at the same time, on any satellite, you need four LNB with two output.
Both the LNB output have to be connected to a DiSEqC switch and either the DiSEqC switch have to be connected to a single tuner (A and B).

In any case, you need to have two cables connected to your satellite dish.
