I have not idea.
Someone has tryed to leave enabled both wlan interface and lan interface and reports that this make the wifi connection more stable.

Does this mean that solo has a problem with encrypted wireless ?

I've used your wifi adapter recently with Solo and Duo boxes.
My WiFi network is WPA encrypted and works regularly.

The main problem of this wifi device is that is not very tollerable when is connected to an Hub USB: connected directly to the box the wifi link is not lost for 3 last days.

I've connected the TPLink wifi device on the front USB port.

Thank you all

I did like what he said logan

( leave enabled both wlan interface and lan interface )

and use (wifi-bridge + TPLink wifi )

the connection became more stability !

now

The problem back

i make the modem very close to solo

Same problem

Now the connection does not become stable only after a while

I think the problem is due to encryption

because

In ( wireless network status )

I see ( encryption = unsupported )

And the connection not become stable until the word become is enabled

( encryption = enabled )

any idea ?

Seems that your device is correctly detected (rt73 driver).
Have you used the correct encrypted configuration in Wifi setup ?
If you have a WPA only wifi network you should use WPA settings: this should be applied if you have a WPA2 only network.

I hope this concept is clear: my English is not very good :(

wireless network status I see encryption = unsupported but setting is correct
And the connection not become stable until the word become is enabled

Vu+Solo and wncrypted Wifi doesen't have problems: I have some Wifi sticks for my tests and all works correctly with my WPA wiFi network.
The setting I use on the box for encryption is "WPA or WPA2".

The issue you are encountered seems a wrong wifi password inserted .....
