This patch need only for new driver rt2870 and rt3572. May be for new version rt3070 too but I didn't get stable work from new version.

Driver rt3070 2.1.1.0 works great without this patch.

I'll try rt2870 dongle with rt3070 2.1.1.0 driver this weekend.
But I'm not sure for this solution work.
I read rt3070 dongles work with rt2870 driver but only with addition firmware file.

Sorry for my bad English

Thanks for your support and interest bigroma :)

Could you please post the output of the following command?

Code:
cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

I need the USB device ids of your WiFi devices :)

Very strange.
Have you restarted your box after the wifi setup?
In one or two cases, I have must restarted the box to apply wifi settings and access on the box via FTP,SSH and other box services.

I'm sure I must have restarted box at least once...anyway, it was more of an experiment, I've gone back to ethernet, I was planning on moving my router to another room, but that plan has changed.
Good to know it should work simply, for future reference.
Thanks

The support of your device will be included into next BH image.

Hi,
I bought a Sitecom Wireless USB adapter 54g (special compact size edition) and I tried to use it with my Vu+ Duo.
If I go to the configuration menu for the network, I can see only LAN configuration and it says that internet doesn't work.
Should I do something more to make it work or the device is not supported?

Thanks!

This is the code of the adapter: WL-608 v1 002.
I'm using BH 1.4.6

In the attached file you have the output of the following command:
Code:
cat /proc/bus/usb/devices

Thanks!

Your device uses the RT2870 driver.
This driver is under testing and will be included into BH 1.5.1.
I haven't had the time to make tests for inclusion into BH 1.5 image.
