Because the folder for picons is allways usr/share/enigma2/picon OR media/usb/picon.

If you want another place for the picons you need a symlink.

Sorry to hijack this thread.

How do I change the directory of picons to my Solo 2 interan HDD, which is mounted.

I have read that you need to change the phyon text file. Is there a way to do this in BH 2.0.5?

It makes no sense to change the picon folder to your hdd, because then must allways work the HDD!

Take the picons into flash or USB stick.

@fantome: Sorry, I don´t know these picons. Are you sure, that this "sat picons" exist? I´ve never seen them.

Thanks Feedhunter, I understand the pros and cons of putting picons on a pen and not on the HDD. But, do you know how to?

I was looking for the option last night and just want to know the answer.

Mount the USB stick to media/usb. Then copy the picons to the USB stick into the folder media/usb/picon. That´s all.
