I have not heard anything.

As above the box is not very old, so I think someone is getting mixed up between solo and solo2, and calling it a 2nd edition or revision 2 solo.

I doubt Vu+ would have put a clone on there own stand at the 2012 Anga fair, as they had not announced the Solo2 until that show

Those pictures were taken on the Vu+ stand at the 2012 Anga fair, so that was a prototype machine.
