Hi.
I just bought a Solo2 box and found a wifi dongle at home but it only works for the TV at this moment. I found a way to make it work on linux but I have no experience i vu+ or much in linux. There are drivers that work HERE . Would be great if I could get direction to how I insert the drivers into my box.

This device uses Atheros chipset & chip and the linux support is already included into BH images.

Yes sorry I noticed that but I am unable to use it for some reason. It is not listed under devices manager, and I cannot set up a wireless connection through network setup. When I try to start Wireless Access point plugin I get the error message "Wireless lan device is not detected".

If the device is correctly detected, you can use "WirelessLanSetup" plugin (Into System Menu) to configure your wireless network.
In other cases, your device is not detected correctly and needs some works to be operative.

Well it seems like it is detecting it:

I know that is the device because it was called CEWL 1 when I tried connecting it to my laptop. Yet the plugin WirelessLanSetup is not showing up. Any advice?

Thanks for your output I will investigate about it!

Update: I think your device is not yet listed into drivers sources. I will try to add it ASAP.

Update #2: I verified with Google and your device should be supported natively from kernel 3.2.0. With your Solo2 there is newest kernel 3.3.6... I will check sources....
For debugging purposes only, I need also the output of "dmesg" command when the box end the boot process.
