This change is almost identical to the change committed by Scuotivento 7 months ago... Similar code to that added to getStream (used for live streams) is copied to getTS ( to handle recordings of streams). Both Scuotivento's commit and the proposed commit provide an extra parameter to VLC to ensure that VLC can find the correct program stream when multiple streams are included within a transport stream. In this situation you may have a shared PMT but need to tell VLC which stream... if you don't specify this extra parameter, typically VLC just fails to decode anything.
I'm really keen to get this incorporated... it will save me having to modify the plugin everytime I update. As explained above it is a good fit/complementary to the last (7 months ago) commit to this file.
I hope someone with commit authority can give this a look.
