Trying to install the subtitle player 3.05 on blackhole 1.5 and i have the following error:
could not lock /usr/lib/opkg/lock: no space left on device.
What is missing?

I installed again the black hole image and all ok. The subtitle player needs lots of flash memory?
To play a mkv file, it needs to be on the hdd, if the mkv file is in the network (freenas), i can only play on the mediaplayer and so i cannot have access to the subtitle player.

Sub player do not need a lot of memory.
If you want use this plugin with mkv files you need to start movies with video (R) button so you need to put movie on hdd movie or you must change recording path on usb stick or hdd where is movie but that is little bit complicated.
There is another option tu use plugin Media Center and start the movie through him and then you will be able to start DDsubt player even if you are watching movies from usb stick/disc.

Option 2 is to use enigma build-in subtitle player

How to get subtitles in Media files (mp4, mkv, avi ...)

Option 1 - A separate subtitle file with the movie
To have a correct view of all letters you have to convert subtitle in UTF-8 or possibly if you still have problems with some letters in UTF8 with signature.
For the conversion you can use Notepad2

The procedure is as follows:
- Start a notepad and then ------ File> Open and open the subtitle
- Now and again to set utf-8 or Utf8 with signature

and at the end of all save the save as if you like to save as the new subtitles or just save if you like to overwrite the existing one.

To start subtitles should bein same folder and have a same name (movie and subtitle) - for example terminator.srt and terminator.mkv.
Start-movie
-Start the subtitle on subtitle button
- In this case is the first subtitle (more subtitles will appear if the movie itself has mixed subtitles)

Image Webif screenshot looks a bit stretched but it shows it is ok with black bands should just turn the settings to 16:9 displays as leterbox

Option 2 - Muxing subtitle directly in movie
I tried this and works like charm
Here's an example of how:
1. Install MKVtoolnix
2. Open MKVMergeGUI.
3. Input tab -select "Add."
4.Choose subtitles and the movie and click Open (you can open them 2x separately if you like)

5.Click "Start Muxing"

- In the minute you have a mkv with subtitle mixed.
Start the movie and then start the subtitle on subtitle button.

I have the following problem.

After selecting Movie title, subplayer starts to search and translates title.
it opens new list with possible movie titles from IMDB. All OK so far.
When i scroll down the list with down cursor from remote,
before i finish all possible movie title names, suddenly jumps to first panel,
with EPG movie original title.

Some times there are two pages to scroll and jumps from second page,
other times jumps from first page.
Any idea ? :confused:

hi all
i put the plugin 3.02 in my solo but all time give me the green error and the reciver make reboot and how can i make the plugin work plz any one help me
is the error from the soft or the memory or what and how can make work when i put flach memory in the reciver

Please use a last version which is attached on this topic or download it from BH addons panel.
Also make swap especially if you download a epg - 128 mb will be enough.

Hello.
When i select titlovi for subtitle server, I get Green enigma2 crash screen.
This also happened with previews version (3.02)
I am using Swap file 128MB on USB and I download EPG from Blue->Red panel

I tested titlovi.net but i dont have that problems - could you attach here crashlog that maybe i can see something inside it.
Also you can put here your configuration so I can test with the same setup (language....)

Thank you for response.
The server is not a problem really, all other servers work fine. ;)
The problem is the "page jump" bug.
I can't select the correct title for some movies. :wallbash:
I will post Crash Log as soon as possible.

We know about the bug , author will try to fix it on next release, if you like yu can use 3.02 version which do not have that bug.

Hello.
After installing new Skin from download panel (BH 1.5.1)
Subtitler crashed every time I pressed download or Run button.
That was fixed by downloading and re-installing subtitler plugin.(BH panel)
