Request technisat skystar usb hd DONT work , not shown as tuner

now i got my unit but it will not show as tuner :(

technisat-usb2: firmware version: 17.63
dvb-usb: found a 'Technisat SkyStar USB HD (DVB-S/S2)' in warm state.
dvb-usb: will pass the complete MPEG2 transport stream to the software demuxer.
DVB: registering new adapter (Technisat SkyStar USB HD (DVB-S/S2))
dvb-usb: MAC address: 00:08:c9:f0:b4:aa
technisat-usb2: i2c-error: 68 = 64
dvb-usb: no frontend was attached by 'Technisat SkyStar USB HD (DVB-S/S2)'
IR keymap rc-technisat-usb2 not found
Registered IR keymap rc-empty
input: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver as /devices/platform/ehci-brcm.0/usb1/1-1/bh-rc/rc0/input1
rc0: IR-receiver inside an USB DVB receiver as /devices/platform/ehci-brcm.0/usb1/1-1/bh-rc/rc0
dvb-usb: schedule remote query interval to 100 msecs.
dvb-usb: Technisat SkyStar USB HD (DVB-S/S2) successfully initialized and connected.
usbcore: registered new interface driver dvb_usb_technisat_usb2

I should take a look in the driver sources and evaluate what not work correctly.

not really the sticker on the device only says : skystar usb hd and the serial number of the device

on the package

item no. 4109/3734

and the ean : 4019588410947

i hope this helps

p.s. that must be the right firm :

The firmware file is already included into BH image. The problem should be in another part of the driver

When i see on you result i have to say ,NOTHING was fixed since the last 7months and
Vu+Team doesn t want and the BH Team cannot fix it...
....but Gigablue Quad have same problem...DVB-s2 Plugin Card will do "multistream" ,but
drivers do not!
Open Source is big fake,because of the closed drivers!

Are you crazy? I think YES.
Here we are not interested by other brands problems and we try to make all we is in our possibilities to solve users problems.
About Vu+: they are so skilled to know what they are doing with their developed products: if you have open a support request on the official website, the only thing you can do is wait or write another request for them.
Your complains here are off-topic and are not yet tolerated

I have had same problem ,as you can read in the posted "link".
And see the log of BigBoy77,so what changed?

And bye the way get involved why people want to use Stv09xx devices...
For me as user is the functions itself important and not any company bashing
which many image teams practice...
The Truth is;all the companies makes money with hw and
bad drivers....and you devs take this,like making sh.t to gold!
But in reallity your are "only" the cheap "tools" of them...
All Devs can be proud to all their works!
But proud on any companie, can be nobody!

if you have open a support request on the official website, the only thing you can do is wait or write another request for them.
Since 7Months i m waiting and many times ,i have contacted them and send a request ,but
i never got an answer!
I m not making Blabla like others ,who tell allways "it should" "i think" etc...

If you don't like how official Dev Teams works, sell your boxes and save your money.

Don t see it "personal",but "indirect" you do work for them.
"All" (OS Devs around all stb plattforms)making great support and spent their time.
But what they(you) get back?...bad drivers and no direct communication is often
what users can read,in case of opensource STB.
That s the new money mule,pushing out HW and let the devs develop
useful Gui like E2...it is poor to see how the opensource community is
abused by this industry.

But back to topic to respect the wish of BigBoy77.

After hopefully implementation of driver ,don t forget the advanced search field and
channel structure for MIS and/or PLS transponders.
Technisat USB HD use STV0903bac demodulator!
