I have a VU Duo. I have just purchased a TP-LINK TL-WN727N v4. Looking at previous forums I have found that the following driver would be compatible rtl8188eu_git-r0-bh0_bm750.ipk.

I have installed this successfullly, plugged in the wifi adapter in the front. I then restarted the duo. When I go to Settings, network there is no wifi menu. I then selected the Network Wizard but no netowrk detected.

Is there a plugin that I need to install? I have searched the ploguns menu for anything associated with wifi but nothing listed.
In networks LAN is the only connection available, how do I switch to Wifi?

It's important the output of the following command:

Code:

First of all, your dongle is a Ralink based device and not a Realtek one (148f is the Ralink ID). Your device uses a Ralink 7601U chipsed (called also MT7601U) and the corresponding linux driver for Vu+ boxes is under testing.

Many thanks, I can wait for the driver to be eventually released. When will I know it is ready?

I've restructured the wifi drivers included into BH images removing some non working drivers and updating some others but the 7601 was not yet included previously and I suppose to include it in a future image. For testing purposes only, I'll publish on the Board the IPK for tests ASAP.

I tested a friend's TP-Link TL-WN727N (V1) on my VU+Uno and it worked. Then I bought the same model but V4 and it doesn't detect the device.
The new version of the TP-Link is causing this.
I got BH 2.1.1.

Thanks.
