upgrading vu+ solo2

Hello, everyone.

I'm want to upgrade my vu+ solo2 firmware I never done this before, I've read the guide 'How to upgrade software for your VuPlus' at vuplus.com where it re-directs me to code.vuplus.com and then it gives you two options either Images 1.6 or 2.1 what's the differents between them also I have installed ******** would this be deleted is well, If I upgrade.

My VU+ Solo2 Information:
Version: Dec 18 2012-vuplus_experimental_factorytest
Image: Experimental 2012-12-18
Frontprocessor version: 0

sorry i did not know.

however I want to upgrade my firmware there is nothing wrong with it, but I want to know what are the different's between the 1.6 and 2.1 Images so I can choose which one is right for me.

Right image for you is OE 2.1, you can use OE 1.6 too, but it's compatible only with older 1.6 plugins not supported anymore.
