I will post later dmesg from VU Duo, but for now I want to add that this tuner was not working with ubuntu 10.10 and latest ubuntu kernel (2.6.35). There was a message "problem af9015: tuner id:177 not supported, please report!". Then I downloaded latest v4l drivers from hg repository,
http://linuxtv.org/hg/v4l-dvb , compiled and installed and usb stick works fine. In dmesg, the info about tuner is the following:
[ 48.142238] dvb-usb: found a 'Afatech AF9015 DVB-T USB2.0 stick' in cold state, will try to load a firmware
[ 48.151979] dvb-usb: downloading firmware from file 'dvb-usb-af9015.fw'

So, it seems this is some MXL5007T unknown revision (3f) that works fine with latest drivers.
