Hi Guys,
I have a Duo and a solo.
Some time back I had a problem with my Solo, it kept crashing. You Guys on this forum kindly helped me sort it.
Now after a long while my Duo has started crashing. I have reflashed with BH 2.1.3 and also tried Vix but after I install everything it still crashes.
Can someone help me please?

Thanks.
Regards,
Jules.

It is RAM issue with Duo, always try to free the ram.

Hi Jules

You have to Ftp the file to:

/usr/script

Upon this, change the attributes to 755, or verify that the file has this attributes!

and reboot your STB

Thanks I will try. Just an update though, last night I installed a slightly older software (BH ver 2.0.8) with a swapfile on usb (256meg) and not crashed again so far.
Could be good news (fingers crossed).
Should I still use the ram file?
Also, how can increase the swap file to more than 256 meg please? That is the highest in menu.

Thanks.

Jules.

Try also with the Beta 2.1.4 image for Duo: http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/2-1-4-beta-testing.20219/

I did try that version yesterday and it crashed again.
I think the 2.1.4 version you showed me here is a modified one, ( a few days newer) Am I right? Should this make a difference to the 2.1.4 I used yesterday?

Thanks, if I am running ver 2.0.8 OK, maybe I should leave alone if all working, what do you think?
