Vu+ duo hangs at boot

Have just bought a brand new Vu+ duo and i am having the following problem.
The factory image works fine,but when i flash it with any other image by using the usb or by a null cable modem its stuck at the loading enigma screen and wont finish booting.
I have tried various images .VTI,PLI etc with the same result.
Also have tried with an internal HD and without.

1st...I would recommend 2 reset-to -actory setting!
2nd,,Extarct the image 2 the USB directly!
3rd..Remove any USB in the back & unplug internet cable!
4th,,Turn-off the box , from the back 100%!
5th..Insert USB w/BH image,,@Front slut!
6th,,Trun-on the box,,,wait tell completion!

Now U can enjoy Vu+ and BH image!
It worked 4me, hopefully it will 4U!

Please say how "by a null cable modem",,,,,very interesting:confused:....!

I am talking about rs232 cable..flashing using vu util.

I have tried the method you described above many times apart from resseting to factory settings .i will let you know how it goes

Using RS232 for flashing is very slow and time wasting... use a Flash Drive in the front USB port with a vuplus folder as described in the new image installation procedure.

When you say about hangs, you speak about BH images downloaded from this web site or are you trying about a backup images found in other place? Using backup maybe a bad practice, the best is start with a clean image.

Tried and tried but nothing works .I have come o the conclusion that its a hardware issue ia flash mem like you said. i will be sending it back.

black hool 1.4.6 usb the stb 7 days run perfactly, but now stb is hang after booting the


enigma is not loding ,i try my best replace may images with difrant way butt vu+du is hang,

I m not new user , I think the problim is in flash ic(hardawer) the flash ic will be replace or

reprogramme in programer tool, that time the firm of vu+ give us technical support or


replace stb with new one , if the vu+ not salve the problem of their customers, that the may

user not consider to purchase same model . VU+ COMPANY TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY.

Have you tried to flash your box via serial connection?
Could you post the output of the serial console at boot?

your remote not working when it shows loading enigma screen ? sometimes it stopes there untill you setup sats etc br:sat
