VU+Duo2 not booting, only logo screen

Hello,
I have this Vu+DUO2, once I turn it on, it shows only the purple screen with logo and thats it. Nothing else. I hear something about problems with capacitors, so I replaced all of them, also on the power supply and tried again and same thing. I have no HDD and tuners connected.

Do you have any idea what to do? Or, can somebody help me which fimrware and how I can try flash it? Maybe it will help?

Did you try flashing it before you replaced all the components?
You can load Black Hole, or Open Black Hole, on your Duo 2:

Flashing is extremely easy.

Download the image, you wish to flash.
Unzip it, so that you have the vuplus folder, to load on a freshly FAT 32 formatted USB stick.

Take this USB stick, to your receiver.
Turn off your receiver, at the rear.
Open the front flap, located on the right hand side, and insert the USB stick.
Switch on, at the rear, then hold in the front power button, near the USB stick.
Once it recognizes the USB stick, and begins flashing, release the power button and wait until it's finished loading.

Remove the USB stick and follow the onscreen instructions.

If it fails to recognize the USB stick, try a different one, I tend to find the older, smaller, USB sticks work best.
If this also fails try a USB port, at the rear of your receiver.

thank you. It works with the Black Hole Image, but Ihave issues with the CI card.
It is not recognized by the device.

It is skylink... any idea? maybe the black hole image is not supporting?

Ihave issues with the CI card.

Please explain: if you are trying to use your card alone, without a CAM reader, you are violating the forum rules, as Mick said.
And what do you mean exactly by skylink? I hope not the sky access point! What has this to do with a non-sky box?!?

Sorry,I dont want to make any violations .

I have PAID subscription for satellite TV for years. There is nothing illegal. Skylink is the provider.
Before this issue, I normally put the IC in to the reader in the Duo2 and it was warking, after I did the reflash with the black hole image, the box is not able to find the card.

Again: using a card WITHOUT a smartcam reader is illegal. What do you mean by: "I normally put the IC in to the reader". What reader? If you mean the smartcam module, C.I., is legal. If you mean you use only the card without the SmartCAM, it's illegal to read it directly by a smartcard slot. Is it clear now? So, again, please explain, because the word "reader" used in this simple way does not make the situation clear.

OK, now it's clear: you've got a SmartCam module and its smartcard. But your Smartcam is a CI+ not a C.I. and CI+ companies don't want their cams to be used in boxes that have not paid their royalties.
You can just try if OBH 4.4 or 4.3 or 4.2 is able to read it the same: but it's not compulsory.

Thank you! I will try to downgrade it. Anyway, is there any possibility to flash back the genuine firmware? Because in the genuine FW it was working OK.

The original firmware was probably the vuplus image, unless your provider flashed a different image:
