VU Solo 1 image

Hi

Bit confused which is the latest version of BH for the Solo 1 as most images appear to be OS2

Many thanks for your response I have tried to flash the image however it does not download. Any advice welcome

It doesn't download an update or addons? If both, check your LAN settings.

Hi

No the image does not flash, usually I get an amber light constant until it has flashed. However this time the amber light comes on for a few seconds then it goes green and my old image comes on screen

Reformat your USB key on PC to FAT32 and put BH image again on it. You need to have the image on /vuplus/solo/ directory.

Many thanks for your response have re formatted my USB placed the new image on the VU plus/solo/dir all 3 files are showing and again light goes amber for a short time then green and old image boots. Is there anyway to force an install

If you have any other devices connected to your Solo, try to disconnect them before to install the new image.

You can try to use another usb stick.

I hase tried another memory stick but no difference I have also tried to upgrade the bootloader but this has not worked either

Are you sure your Solo is not a clone?
Which image are you using now?

I am using a BH 1.76 is was purchased from WOS so not a clone

Try to unplug box for about 2 minutes from mains, insert USB with new image, reinsert main power supply cable.

Thanks the light starts orange and the immediately turns to green and installs the old image

Check box memory, if there isn't a folder /backup or /vuplus on root, if yes, delete or rename them.

No nothing of this nature I also disabled my network m ounts but this made no difference

Are you sure, that your image files are correct?

yes downloaded again and the same thing is happening goes orange for a couple of seconds then gree and re boots the old image
