Good day for every one , first I am glad to be member on vuplus community on my first share.

I hope not to initiate my first topic with any complains but that is my destiny.

I wish you help me, after purchasing the new VU+ Solo2 the great device I had ever dream to own it , I realy got frustrated from the first use after unboxing.

The device seems to work fine it required me on the first step to configure the Remote control unit with the device I done what appear to me in T.V screen but no way to be recognized , changing the battery with 3 different type but they didn't bring me new.

And as I know that any remote control unit must produce a light when faced to mobile camera to be sure it works probably but it didn't produce any light.

by the way the dmm company saying on the site that the RCU is a new in model shape it looks like VU+ Due unit.

Solo2 and Duo (NOT DUO2) RCU are NOT the same.

Solo2 is a Universal RCU
Duo (NOT DUO2) is only STB RCU.

In the Solo2 remote there are TV and STB ON buttons on the top (from left to right).

If you NOT have this RCU, ask seller to send you the correct one and check CAREFULLY if your box is genuine or not.
In this Community, coles are not welcome, not supported and users who try to get support for these clones are banned.

Post also an RCU photo please.

If taking a picture you can't see any light emitted from the IR LED, and you have already tested with new batteries, your remote is clearly defective.
You should ask for a replacement.

After many trials to know why RCU not responding I found the way to make it working it only works when I press with my thumb and other 4 fingers at the rcu on the batteries place the T.V button gives red light and the device respond , when I begin configuring setting I reach the channel list while remote control still giving red light then unfortunately stopped working the same problem with different way in spite of red light still working.
