Vu+ Solo2 BH 2.0.9 network card problems

Hi,

I just bought a Vu+ Solo2 and installed the lates BH image on it.
I have problems with the network connection it looses connection after a while and also sometimes don't connect at 1 gbps. I bought a Cisco swith today and the problem persists. Any idea on what to do?

Moderator
Try used DHCP and look to your router setup.
If no help try made remote setup on box.
If all this no help maybe beter will be if you try other cable betwen router [ switch ] .

I have tried several cables.
I use DHCP now. I'll check if changing to static IP will help.
I did not think DHCP would influence the basic ethernet port link connection and link speed.

I think for LAN connection if not working from beginning you have two options:
1. wireless connection
2. external USB LAN connection

Changing switches and routers might help..but then we are already looking at a hefty bill to compensate for vusolo2 bad LAN design ? :(
It is either HW or bad network drivers hope to see an improvement one day.
Please see the other thread I have opened about this and possible solution. Cheers and don`t give up :)

Thanks for your input. My conclusion so far is that its either faulty network "card" on my box or BH network card driver issues.
