Hello!
I am looking to buy a new VU+ Uno 4K SE tuner, but I have 2 questions I would like answered before I go ahead:
1. DRAM
In the review of the tuner on this board, the tuner is listed with 2GB DDR4 DRAM in the specs.

This is also the case on the official website of VU+. http://vuplus.com/sub/sub0117.php
However, on 2 different reseller websites in my country, the tuner is listed with 2GB (2048 MB) DDR3 DRAM.

https://www.dreambox.no/produkt/hduhd-mottakere/vu/vu-hduhd-tunere/vu-uno-4k-se-fbc-twin
The DRAM specs are listed under 'Tekniske høydepunkter' ('Technical highlights') and 'Teknisk' ('Technical')
So, my first question is: did this tuner come in different editions with 2 different kinds of DRAM, or have the resellers in my country independently made typo's in their specs?
2. avi files
One of the reasons for wanting to buy this tuner, is because my current VU+ Zero 4K does not support playback of .avi video. It will only play the audio, but not the video.
I have sought answers to this problem on this board, as well as researched different forums to find a solution, however, it is my conclusion that there is no solution to this.
The problem seems to be a limitation in the Broadcom chip in the VU+ Zero 4K, which does not support .avi video, and since it is a hardware limitation, it will not be possible to make a software work-around for this issue.

It seems to me only the Zero 4K has this limitation, at least I have not seen anyone complaining about any other VU+ models having this issue. Also, this issue seems to be regardless of what image you use on the Zero 4K.
My second question therefore is: can the VU+ UNO 4K SE (100% positively) play .avi files?
Any and all help is highly appreciated.
Ty.
