Vu+ Uno + DVB-C USB Tuner + Card reader = ?

I have installed Sundtek DVB-C tuner with latest BH 1.6.7 image, scanned freq. and got channels. Now I need to decode them. I have subscription card and two slots. Wherever I put subscription card nothing happens. My provider uses Conax for decoding.

I have tried to put Conax module in PCMCIA slots, and VU recognize them, but nothing happens with decoding of channels. From Commong Interface I can access Subscription Card info everything is valid but decoding doesn't happen.

Does anyone has any tips what should I try? I would prefer to use internal reader than Conax module.

You must select into Blue Panel "Common Interface" as your CAM and try to use the internal card readers.
If doesen't work correctly you can try with a Conax CI CAM into upper CI slot.
Try also with one and one only CI CAM per time.

Doesnt internal reader supposed to support Conax?

What box do you have?
I'm usre Duo/Duo LE and Solo supports Conax CA.
Ultimo supports XCript but Uno i don't know

hi i have vu plus duo box with blackhole image 1.7.3.. my question is i have subcription card but not working for my box.. i just put the card in the vu plus slot.. but not working.. do i need to do anythingelse for that.... please help me...

What CA is used for your subscription?

sorry i dont understand.. what is CA mean? i just put the card in card slot.. even when i see the CI assignment its say no Module found.. thanks for reply

CA mean Conditional Access.
What encryption system is used by your subscription?

thanks for your reply.. its already have smart 2 card reader slot with box isnt it? i put my subcription via acess card..but not working.. i didnt use any seprate cam ..

I am a newbie as well and have the same problem as kirup29 had some time ago.
My VU+ is running for some time but I just used it as a free tv receiver. So far everything was fine.
No I have subscribed SKY (Germany) which comes with a smartcard,
So I put my new smartcard into the internal reader of my VU+ ultimo and unfortunately nothing happens.
Do I have to activate or initialise the internal reader before this works? Or is this just a BH specific problem?
