VU+ uno Ipod classic

could anyone tell me if its possible to play music from ipod classic using the vu+ uno on blh 2.0.8 ?
Is it easy enough or do i need a plugin ?
Reason i ask is im about to buy a new AV receiver need to know if to spend extra for ipod usb conection on the amp, instead.

As already said, it's not yet possible with direct connection.
Other systems like AirPlayer can work if your Apple device has Wifi connectivity
