Backup your Settings.
Re-Install Latest BH image in flash.
Reboot / Restore Settings.
- :)
If issue appears again,:wallbash: test with different HDMI TV-input and cable.
Finally connect VU+ Uno to other TV,
if same issue insist, It Is VU+ Uno Hardware failure.
Good Luck

There is some truth in what you say:

I noticed the issue is related to HDMI TV connection....it goes on and off when turning on the HDtv...

Workaraound solution:

connect the audio amp to the TV instead VU+ analog audio out..

There is a HUGE AUDIO BUG IN VU+ BOXES !!!!

Sorry, there is such a huge bug that, you are the only person that has noticed it ?

Maybe there is a problem with your box, or your hdmi cable, or tv, or your sound system etc etc ?

I am not the only person who noticed it , there are several posts from users in the forums//
This problem happens when using an external audio amp/receiver connected to analog out , therefore all users using only hdmi tv wont notice it.

Recently , another user was able to record the issue :

Code:
http://petike.xf.cz/vuplus_audio_issue.mp3
here is the thread:
Code:
http://openpli.org/forums/topic/30657-distorted-sound-on-vu-uno/
and no ,its not a problem with my box, or my hdmi cable, or tv, or your sound system

Again, what?

angelofsky1980 , listen the sound file..

Ok well I have never heard of this issue before, and not seen other reports of it, therefore it is not a "Huge bug the size of Texas", however I do agree there is an issue there, but from reading the link you put up, it's a drivers issue and therefore can only be resolved by Vu+ themselves i'm afraid.

So your options are it seems for the moment, use older drivers, or remove the hdmi cable when you need to listen to analouge audio.

Evo:

-i use VU+ with a vintage hifi audio receiver , for me the bug is the size of texas , maybe even bigger , did you listen how crappy does it sound ? it sounds like a 50 dollar clone box...

-analog audio out has the problem even without hdmi cable ...
-I think , it is not a driver issue , i think its a hardware/fpga design issue...

Cold solderings on mainboard. Try with about 32 Ohms impedance headphones on Line Audio Output. If I'm right, you'll not hear nothing in left channel, if it's final audio amplifier. It could be an intermediate audio circuit too. But not DAC ;).

PS: I do have an audio generator and a oscilloscope ready to do more tests for you.

ufff fabrication defect ?? do you think so ?

I dont have 32 Ohms headphones ... any other way to test it ???
I think i will talk to my dealer.

Whats strange is that , other users complained about same problem ... ( i will request their serial number)

You can test with others one. Cinch to jack 3,5mm adapter and some MP3 players headphones (they are usaually 32/50 Ohms).

I'll try to ask my friend to lend me his box for tests.

ohhh ok ... that i can do ...

But, in the other hand , this box is expensive enough to play DIY games in the lab...

I prefer selling it or return it to the dealer:

i will have a small talk with the official dealer this morning !!
